Meet our partner agents in Wimborne & Broadstone
Meet Becky Peters
I'm the proud director of Meyers Estate Agents in Wimborne & Broadstone. My journey into the world of estate agency began back in 2006. At first, I thought it would be a temporary job until I found my true calling. Little did I know, estate agency would become my passion and the foundation of my career. Fast forward to 2025, and I’m heading into my fifth year running my own business under the Meyers brand – a decision that has transformed my life and career.
Estate agency runs through my veins. Growing up surrounded by building and property, my father, a local builder, had a profound influence on me. He taught me that while working for yourself can be tough, it’s incredibly rewarding. You’re building something for your own future, for your family, and doing things your way. Sadly, my father passed away suddenly in 2019, and that loss pushed me forward, driving me to pursue my dream with even greater determination. His legacy and lessons continue to inspire me every day.
In 2020, I took the plunge and opened my own branch under the Meyers franchise. The support from the Meyers family has been invaluable, but my passion for building something special within my local community keeps me going. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to forge lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners. I’m proud of the reputation we’ve built for offering outstanding service in Wimborne, Broadstone, and the surrounding areas, including the village I now call home in Corfe Mullen.
As an estate agent, my philosophy is simple: it’s all about the people. Buying or selling a home is one of life’s most significant events, and I believe it should be a positive, empowering experience. I want to guide my clients through the process with honesty, transparency, and a personal touch. This is what sets Meyers Estate Agents apart. We don’t treat our clients like numbers; we take the time to understand their unique needs and goals. Our team works tirelessly to ensure every property is marketed with the very best photography, innovative ideas, and cutting-edge marketing strategies, including social media, to reach the right audience.
For homeowners, I offer practical advice on how to present your property in the best possible light. Whether it’s tips on staging or suggesting improvements that will boost your home’s appeal, I ensure that every property stands out in a competitive market. I understand that selling a home can be stressful, but I and my team aim to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. With Meyers’ expert support and my personal commitment to your success, I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way.
For buyers, I know that purchasing a home is a huge commitment, and I strive to make the experience enjoyable and stress-free. Buying a home should be an exciting journey, not one filled with dread. I work closely with buyers to understand their preferences and priorities, ensuring we find the perfect home that fits their lifestyle and budget.
The cornerstone of my approach is exceptional customer service. I’m committed to delivering results with professionalism, but I also ensure the process remains personal, friendly, and approachable. Every client deserves a level of care and attention that goes beyond the industry standard. After all, this is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make, and you need a dedicated, trustworthy partner by your side.
When I’m not in the office or meeting with clients, I’m a mum to two beautiful children who motivate me every day. Their energy and love pushes me to do my best, for us! They’re the reason I strive to build a successful business that supports our future while contributing to the local community I love. Whether it’s supporting local schools, charities, or events, I’m committed to giving back to the area that has supported me and my business.
Another key part of my life is my passion for netball. As an active player, I love the competitive spirit, but what excites me most is being part of a team. Netball helps me stay grounded and motivated. The teamwork, discipline, and communication required on the court mirror the way I approach my business. In both netball and my career, I believe in the power of collaboration and the importance of supporting one another to achieve shared goals. This competitive yet team-oriented mindset is something I bring to everything I do.
I’m also deeply committed to my local community. I live in Corfe Mullen, a village nestled between Wimborne and Broadstone. Whether it’s supporting local businesses or contributing to community events, I’m passionate about giving back and strengthening the fabric of our village and the surrounding areas.
As I head into my fifth year with Meyers, I’m excited for the future. I look forward to continuing to help clients – whether they’re first-time buyers, growing families, or those looking to downsize – achieve their property goals. Each day brings a new opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives, and I can’t wait to help more individuals and families find their dream homes.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I’d love to help you on your property journey – whether you’re buying, selling, or simply looking for advice. Please feel free to reach out, and let’s work together to make your property dreams a reality.
