Meet our partner agent in Weymouth
Meet Jon Williams
I am Jon Williams, a trusted and local property advisor. Not only am I the proud owner of the business in the town that I have grown up in but I am fully committed to making your property transaction as smooth and stress free as possible. Having worked in the industry for over 35 years, mainly for the larger corporate companies, I now have the opportunity and freedom to concentrate on client care without the worry of having to hit those branch and personal targets month after month. Buying or selling a property can often be a long journey and this is a journey that we will go on together. The goal is to show complete professionalism at all times and use elements of my corporate world experience and personalise it to a more friendly and approachable local business that cares about your wants and needs. This is all about your future and we are in it together.
I believe that every client. Both sellers and purchasers deserve to be treated with personal care and attention. I want to move as far away from that corporate world as possible. I look to offer a tailor made service for each client individually and dependant on their needs. This ensures that contact is easy and regular, with feedback on every aspect of the transaction. This has proved to be the key to my success and why so much of my business has come via client recommendations. In fact, many of my clients are no longer seen as clients as through forming such great relationships, they have become friends and will continue to be whether they ever move again or not. It really doesn’t get any better than that for me.
Weymouth
Why move to Weymouth or should I say, why wouldn’t you !! Weymouth is a charming, traditional and classic seaside town with award winning beaches that are perfect for sunbathing, safe swimming and water sports. Why not take a stroll along the promenade or along the picturesque inner harbour with its working fishing or sailing boats, bars, restaurants for fine dining or good old fish and chips. If you wish to escape the hussle and bustle of city life then Weymouth will offer you a slower, more relaxed pace with plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature alongside local attractions including the wonderful Jurassic coastline. Weymouth has historical significance with its links to King George III and you will find plenty of museums and cultural activities to enjoy too. There are great transport links with a direct trainline to London Waterloo via Bournemouth and Southampton along with links to Bristol Templemeads.
I was born in Tiverton, Devon, my parents moved to Weymouth in 1973 via a short three year stint in Sherborne. Having done my schooling here, I really do identify Weymouth as my home town and proud to have brought up two children here. My grown up daughter Mya runs her own successful Beauty business while my son George is entering his final years of education.
I am an avid sports fan and coaches local youth football for several years. These days I am just a spectator with a love of both football and basketball. I am a season ticket holder along with my son at West ham United and enjoy the highs and more often lows of supporting my club. A goal I have for the near future is to go to the states to watch an NBA basketball game, preferably with the Boston Celtics playing.
My other passion is music and I have quite an eclectic taste although soul, jazz and jazz funk would be my go to genres. I try to get to gigs whenever possible and enjoy nothing more than digging around old record stored looking for those golden nuggets of vinyl to add to my growing collection.
