Meet our partner agent in Poundbury
Meet Simon Jeanes
With over two decades of experience in the property industry, I’ve built a career focused on delivering exceptional results and outstanding service. My journey began in Central London, where I managed a busy lettings agency covering some of the capital’s most sought-after neighbourhoods, including Fulham, Chelsea, and other prime areas. During those four years, I gained invaluable experience in a fast-paced market, sharpening my skills in negotiation, property management, and providing clients with a seamless, professional service.
While London offered excitement and opportunity, I was drawn back to my roots in Dorchester, where I’ve since dedicated my career to helping people buy and sell homes in the beautiful Dorset area. Over the years, I’ve successfully managed sales estate agencies in Poole, Weymouth, and Dorchester, earning national recognition and several awards along the way. These achievements reflect my commitment to excellence and the hard work I put into ensuring every client feels confident and supported throughout their property journey.
Thirteen years ago, I joined Meyers Estate Agents during its earliest days. Watching the company grow and evolve has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I’m incredibly proud to have been part of that journey, helping Meyers establish a reputation for innovative marketing and exceptional customer care. We’ve built a business that prioritizes people—focusing on the clients we serve and the teams we build to deliver results.
At Meyers, we believe that buying or selling a property is a deeply personal experience, not just a financial transaction. That’s why I’m committed to providing a tailored service for every client I work with. Whether someone is buying their first home, upsizing for a growing family, or selling a cherished property, I make it my mission to understand their unique needs and deliver results that exceed their expectations.
Over the years, I’ve adapted to the many changes that have shaped the property industry. From shifts in market conditions to the rapid development of technology, I’ve embraced every challenge as an opportunity to grow. I’m a strong believer in using modern tools to enhance the client experience. Whether it’s through professional photography, virtual tours, or dynamic online marketing, I ensure every property I handle is presented to its fullest potential, reaching the widest possible audience.
However, I’ve never lost sight of the human element in real estate. For me, success is about building genuine connections with my clients, understanding their concerns, and providing honest, clear communication every step of the way. Moving home can be an emotional process, and I see it as my role to make it as smooth and stress-free as possible. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the difference this approach makes, with many of my clients returning to work with me again or recommending me to their friends and family.
Living and working in Dorchester has been a privilege. Dorset is a truly special place, offering stunning countryside, a breathtaking coastline, and a vibrant community spirit. I’m passionate about showcasing everything this area has to offer, helping people discover not just a house but a lifestyle they’ll love. Being part of this community also means forging strong connections with local residents, businesses, and organizations, which I value deeply.
Outside of work, I’m a devoted family man who loves spending quality time with my loved ones. Whether we’re enjoying Dorset’s beautiful walking trails, exploring the local coastline, or simply spending time together at home, these moments are what ground me and keep me motivated.
Staying active is also important to me, and I enjoy playing racket sports like tennis and badminton with friends and family. It’s a great way to unwind, stay fit, and keep a healthy balance in life. I find that maintaining both physical and mental well-being helps me bring energy, focus, and positivity to everything I do.
Reflecting on my career so far, I feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with so many wonderful clients and colleagues. Each sale, negotiation, and milestone has been an opportunity to grow and learn. Yet, my passion for property is as strong today as it was when I first started. I’m always excited by the chance to help people find the perfect home or move on to their next chapter, and I’m constantly looking for ways to innovate and improve the service I offer.
As I look to the future, I’m thrilled to continue working with Meyers and contributing to its growth. Whether it’s mentoring new team members, exploring the latest marketing strategies, or finding new ways to deliver outstanding results for our clients, I’m always ready for the next challenge.
